You see without knowing what the other parties are wanting to do and change, what their comments are, or their policies, then democracy has broken down.
Why hold TV debates (for the first time in UK history), when only 3 parties are involved? You only get 3 opinions, and that is the key to democracy, but they (big brother if you like) have with held all the information from you and are giving you 3 choices only, not 4, not 5, not 6, THREE!
The debates should have given us 6 leaders to listen too or watch.
I’m annoyed at this, and it seems to have passed nearly everyone by that only the top 3 were included. There are more parties out there that need to be heard, afterall, they might have idea’s that you like, but you’d never know what they are. You have been spoonfed the top 3 for the past 2 weeks, when do the little guys get heard? Before or after the election?

And you thought flower dynamic theme was good! This Eyepet Spring Dynamic Theme, might not be as good, or it might be better? It’s all a matter of opinion, and since you are here, I’ll give you mine, I LIKE it a lot! I think it looks amazing, and even more detailed than flower, although flower does have more features to it, I think I’m going to prefer this more and for longer.

]]>I looked at Vimeo, which is great, but it’s $70 per year, well, no big deal, I’ll pay and I’ll have videos that are longer than 10 minutes, video in HD, as much usage as I could want and I thought brilliant!
But vimeo dont allow gaming videos.
So someone pointed me in the direction of a new video service: own3d.tv, but this on IS for games, infact it’s ONLY for games.
The only limit they have is filesize, and thats a maximum of 2 gig, which is pretty damned big to be honest.
So I made this little video to test the service, and filesizes.
It was recorded at 7mbit, came out at 900mbytes and 15 minutes long. If I reduced the bitrate to say 6mbit, I could have as much as 45minutes of gameplay in the 2 gig limit. Now thats how video services should be, not just for Youtube Partners.

]]>As far as I can tell, Quantic Dreams own the rights to all materials, while SCEE are the publishers. Unless Viacom have VERY recently purchased quantic dream, then I can find no evidence to validify their claim.
So I’ve told youtube as much. Hopefully part 3 will become available, or I’ll be banned.
I did however find that Viacom own Game Trailers.com, and video 3 does end with a trailer for the full game.
But they can not claim copyright on materials they dont own. They just dont like getting scooped?

For anyone who loved mario kart, this is a must buy. It’ll go platinum, no doubt about it.
So the creation:
It takes about 2-5 minutes to create a track from new, then you start to tweak it, add buildings and obsticles.
I’ve made 2 tracks so far, total build time, about 30 minutes. And trust me on this, it’s soooo easy.
But it’s also fun to build tracks, so there’s no doubt going to be enough to last a lifetime once the game is out.
so far all the video’s are still processing, so they might look a bit rough right now. They will be in HD enventually.

Had I known I had 30 minutes game time remaining to complete it, I’d have done it ages ago.
So I completed the single player last night, played some multiplayer, and revisited some of the earlier levels.

I also made a video from one of the multiplayer replays.
The playback is excellent, I really like the replay feature, and it’s automatic, it just records without you having to think about it.
This vide has no tweaks to it, and it still manages to look great.
This next one however, has some visual tweaks to it, focal length, apperture, and other tweaks. Now it looks nightmarish!
It really seems to add a sinister look to it:

]]>Tomorrow, Tuesday the 12th of January 2010, sees the launch of “Gravity Crash Anthems” a downloadable album totalling over 75 minutes of 80’s influenced electronic music. Composed by Tim Wright aka, CoLD SToRAGE, best known for his award winning works on Wipeout & Colony Wars.
“Gravity Crash Anthems” features album length versions of the music from the PS3/PSP game “Gravity Crash” – one of a series of ‘new skool retro’ games from Sony Computer Entertainment. Wright was more than qualified to rise to the challenge of providing audio for the game, not least because his association with computer games goes back as far as the 1980’s, where he began his career penning memorable tunes for many well-known games such as “Shadow of the Beast” and “Lemmings”.
“Writing the score for this game was a total joy for me!” says Wright, “…although I have to compose in all manner of styles based on the requirements of each project, my musical roots are firmly planted in the 80’s where I first discovered a love for electronic music”.

Before you go thinking that £9.99 is a bit steep, just think about how many game soundtracks there are out there to buy.
There’s PixelJunk Eden, Pixel Junk Monsters, and thats it. There is a soundtrack to Battlefield Bad Company on iTunes, but it’s not exclusive! This is. Not only that, but you get some great sounding remixes and original music too. Plus £9.99 is not a lot to spend on keeping a niche market alive and kicking.
I have to say that I’m looking forward to hearing all the songs tomorrow.

I’ve played the single player, I’ve played the multiplayer, I’ve completed both, but while I have’nt prestiged, I have got to rank 70 and gave up.
I think there are too many cheats out there now, all hacking away at the save game. I’ve played more that a few rounds where one or two players can get 30+kills in less that 2 minutes, while the rest of their team struggles to get 5.
So I have swapped mine, I wanted rid before the cheating drove me insane.
But before I did, my nepher an I decided to do some challenges, using the “Night at the Musuem” map. We had some amazing fun too, setting up a challenge and then trying to complete it before the other one does.
So first off, we decided we’d try Shotguns Only.
It might sound easy, but not as easy as you’d think, not with the juggernaught.
Next up, after finding shotguns a fairly easy challenge, we decided to really slap down a really worthy challenge.
But, we wanted something tough and we managed to find one: Pistols only!
Throughout we decided that pistols and grenades were fine, but main weapons where what designated and HAD to stick too.
And thats it, despite the 2 video’s we had hours of fun taunting one another, eventually we ended up with knives only, and well, I deleted that video, we got hammered! I think Chris lasted the longest, but only by a few seconds.
So do something different, get some mates around and see what you can do?
